Abstract photography has achieved harmony by combining colors and geometric shapes capable of provoking different associations and emotions. Ralph Methayard has been experimenting with the fluorescence reflections on the water surface in his project "Light on the Water". His conceptual designs keep him an honorable spot among photographers who explore the possibilities of abstraction in photography. Zeta Branches of Metaird are a series of macro photos with very little image sharpness. And in "No Focus," he creates abstractions from defocused groups of people - blurred organic forms that go beyond traditional photographic portraits and are very close to the style of abstract paintings. Maybe another proof that sets the emerging photographic art among the means of meditative artistic expression.
